Wheeeee!!! It’s Friday! Another week gone by.

The new bluemountain.com is online and fairly stable in spite of everyone’s attempts to break it this week by doing Stupid Things. I have a plateful of fairly minor bugs to fix, but I got them all pretty much wrapped up today.

I’m therefore almost able to make progress on the rest of my insane heaping list of things to get done before our pre-Thanksgiving code freeze. I will probably put in some hours from home this weekend, but it’s not like I wasn’t expecting to have to do that…

I finally got around to submitting the vacation request form that had been sitting on my desk, blank, for the last two months. I think I upset my boss a little bit — I have six days that I have been told by higher powers to “take before the end of the year”, and I put them all in December, where I already have the 20th through the end of the month (and a little ways into January) off. Hopefully my days get approved, for I deserve some serious slackage once we are done with the second phase of this project.

I went to gieves‘ party, albeit a little late.

I found out that I suck at whirlyball. (Not a surprise.)

I had fun with Jim and company making kinky personal ads in Scene into zany perverse madlibs.

I finally accomplished “step seven” of our launch plan (the drinking part).

I overate at the Lizard and was on the verge of a “correction” as those in the financial markets might term it. Luckily I achieved a “soft landing” and all is well.

Tomorrow we head to Dearborn, MI, for giant badass mofo Yoda on the IMAX! Rock!
