Iconage: Nausicaa + Serenity

I have occasionally been bored enough or in need of something completely different from my normal mode of being focused on code and servers and misbehaving software. When it gets really bad, I end up staying up too late playing with Photoshop.

A couple months back, I did a few Nausicaa icons; last night I was overcome with the compulsion to do some Firefly/Serenity icons. For those who haven’t seen Serenity yet, do note that some of them may be borderline spoilers.

    The sick, sad, dangerous thing is that I found a most excellent treasure-trove of Firefly screencaps…and bookmarked it! (Yeep.)

    I was kind of surprised that there don’t seem to be too many screencaps from the movie yet, just the trailers. Perhaps there hasn’t been enough evil internet piracy yet…

    Thanks. I really wanted a cap from the crash landing, with the red lighting and the high contrast look, so this one from the TV show got a little bit hacked on. It works, at least for now. :-)

    Lovely icons though, I particularily like Jayne :) He always does get the best lines!
